Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As a crucial member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations in proximity to our consolidation/distribution center. Your role will involve loading and unloading trailers utilizing advanced techniques and technology to ensure efficient operations.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
• Utilize proper loading and unloading techniques.
• Adhere to specific procedures at the terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Hold a Class-A CDL with required endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT requirements.
