Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of our expanding operations, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring efficient transportation and logistics services for our customers.

General Description of Duties:

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
• Utilize forklifts and follow specific procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Duties and schedule may vary depending on the terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required (training available for less experienced candidates).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Good stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
