Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Checker/Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of cargo to and from various locations while maintaining strong customer relationships. Our drivers utilize cutting-edge technology and play a crucial role in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform pickups and deliveries of cargo within proximity of our facilities.
- Load and unload trailers using established techniques and technology.
- Follow assigned schedules and adapt to varying terminal locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements required.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
