Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of running a store to prepare you for a leadership role. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the team to deliver top-notch customer service and maintain store performance.
• Implement company strategies and values to foster a cohesive team environment.
• Manage customer inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain store presentation, product quality, and signage standards.
• Participate in the hiring process and manage employee schedules effectively.
• Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and identify training opportunities for team members.
• Monitor and control store expenses and budgets.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security measures.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
• Experience in retail management with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
• Capability to handle and operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Flexibility to travel to different locations for training as needed.
• Prior management experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
