Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your collaboration with the Aldi team will help enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow all company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper use of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for beverage handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
