Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
• Follow company policies ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining store cleanliness to company standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
