Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers receive exceptional service, and merchandise is efficiently managed.

Job Type

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies, ensure document security, and uphold confidentiality
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and collaborate within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
