Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with team members and management
- Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and other issues to the management team
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures while prioritizing security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Skilled in operating a cash register and various equipment
- Ability to adhere to company policies, maintain cleanliness standards, and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
