Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the dedicated team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for customers. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly arrange merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Stocking merchandise up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights
• Perform various physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years to work at ALDI
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Knowledge of company policies and cleaning standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Satisfy state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, retail experience preferred
• Previous work experience in a retail environment is a plus
