Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in accordance with ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other relevant issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
• Capable of using store equipment safely and effectively
• Skilled in general cleaning tasks and compliance with company standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
