Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains its visual appeal, assists customers, and provides exceptional service. You will collaborate with the team and management to deliver an excellent shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
