Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation skills.
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Capability to follow cleaning standards, policies, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
