Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Keep the store clean to meet company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
