Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Your focus on customer service and teamwork will contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with established company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Execute general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
