Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves neatly, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and follow company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
