Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Capable of general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude for working both independently and in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
