Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Full Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by handling various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining an organized and clean store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with our team will contribute to providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat shelving and merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document and data security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• General cleaning to company standards.
• Interpretation and application of company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
