Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service is vital in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking
• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
