Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store environment to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating with team members
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies diligently
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment effectively
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
