Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team and delivering exceptional customer service, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall customer experience.

Salary

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers effectively
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service
• Capable of operating a cash register accurately
• Able to operate various equipment following safety guidelines
• Skilled in performing general cleaning duties
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
