Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and assist in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience
• Work cooperatively with team members and communicate clearly with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document confidentiality
• Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with company standards

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Competency in operating equipment such as a hand jack and floor scrubber
• Understanding and application of company policies and procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local laws for handling alcohol sales
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus
