Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers are provided with exceptional service, and operations run smoothly. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues to improve store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company procedures and maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to follow company policies, procedures, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
