Job Description - Full-Time Store Associate

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working independently and within a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
