Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in all tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visits.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring and managing stock levels.
  • Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures and security measures.
  • Complete assigned duties efficiently and contribute to a positive store environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prior retail experience and high school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
  • Capable of using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.
