Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for customer service, merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, clean store premises, and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report to store management.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company guidelines and maintain security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in multitasking.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and practical knowledge will be considered.
