Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and issues
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality
  • Perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment
  • Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
