Join our team at Aldi as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with your team to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Proper equipment handling.
- General cleaning duties adherence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with alcohol selling regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
