Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with store management.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays accurately and neatly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies and uphold document security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of following company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
