Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently
• Skills in general cleaning and organizational tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience is considered
