Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is well-organized, our customers are assisted effectively, and our products are neatly displayed. Your responsibilities will include performing cashier duties, stocking shelves, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain neat displays
• Assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• General cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience
