Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.

Position Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$19.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in taking store inventory counts and monitoring inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stock merchandise and place products on shelving at various heights
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work both independently and within a team environment

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
