Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and orderly store environment. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean displays, and stock shelves accurately.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to help improve operations.
  • Participate in regular store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Follow cash handling policies to ensure store security and minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies to safeguard documents and data security.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
  • Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
