Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and orderly store environment. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean displays, and stock shelves accurately.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to help improve operations.
- Participate in regular store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow cash handling policies to ensure store security and minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies to safeguard documents and data security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
