Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. In addition to collaborating with the Aldi team, you will need to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts following guidelines.
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning duties up to company standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and in a team environment effectively.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A suitable blend of education and experience.
