Job Description
Join the ALDI team as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Working collaboratively with the team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for all customers.
Position Details
Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
