Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's excellent appearance. Your role will directly impact the customer shopping experience and require exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and issues
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficiently operate a cash register
  • Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work independently or in a team environment
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus
