Job Description
Join Aldi as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist, where you will play a key role in maintaining a top-quality shopping experience for our customers. As a full-time team member, you will handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning duties while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Uphold company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
- Aptitude for using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail experience is a plus.
