Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Working Hours

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
