Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with stock maintenance, cashiering, and ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and ensure accurate processing of customer purchases.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store by stocking shelves and neat merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, enhancing the shopping experience for all customers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to contribute to store improvement.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy according to guidelines.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain confidentiality of information.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to meet physical demands of the job, including stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
