Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers through collaborative teamwork and dedication to excellence.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Dedication to organization, detail orientation, and multitasking

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
