Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Construction Cost Project Analyst to join Aldi's National Real Estate Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional teams to assess construction bids and ensure cost alignment with project scopes and regional trends. This position, based in Dublin, OH, is eligible for ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, offering up to 3 days of remote work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Provide divisions with current pricing data for consistent pricing structures.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis reports for project awarding.
• Monitor pricing data and advise on efficiency improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in construction documents and proposals.
• Research alternative materials and methods for economical practices.
• Review and approve contract pricing before execution.
• Contribute to team training and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in construction cost indices and RS Means software.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
