Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. This role involves managing construction costs on a national scale and collaborating with divisional teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction documents and hold a degree in construction, architecture, or engineering. The primary focus is to ensure that construction costs align with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Collaborate with Director Real Estate and Construction Manager to determine appropriate scopes.
• Provide divisions with pricing data for consistency.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis for project awards.
• Monitor pricing data and advise on efficiency improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accurate pricing alignments.
• Research alternative materials and construction practices for efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction cost indices.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
