Cashier/Stocker (Part Time)

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Cashiers and Stockers at ALDI. As a Cashier, you will process customer purchases, provide exceptional service, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Stockers play a crucial role in maintaining our shelves, rotating products, and ensuring a well-organized store environment. Both roles require teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding ALDI's high standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Cashier Responsibilities:
• Process customer purchases and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the checkout area
• Report inventory discrepancies and suggest improvements
• Follow cash handling procedures
Stocker Responsibilities:
• Stock shelves with fresh products following merchandising guidelines
• Ensure proper product rotation and organization
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace
• Support inventory management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Effective communication skills
• Strong team player with a focus on quality
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
