Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing action plans, and ensuring the overall performance of the store. You will play a key role in training and growing the team to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on products.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and proper stock levels in the store.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and provide guidance to the team.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Prior experience in a retail environment.
• Experience in managing budgets and personnel costs.
• Proficiency in operating retail equipment and cash registers.
