Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will also play a key role in identifying training opportunities to support the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate company strategy and values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and merchandise products for maximized sales.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Experience in a retail environment.
  • Management experience preferred.
