Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will also play a key role in identifying training opportunities to support the growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Communicate company strategy and values to foster teamwork among employees.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments.
- Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain proper stock levels and merchandise products for maximized sales.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Management experience preferred.
