Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee key store management responsibilities, including supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. In this role, you will identify training opportunities to nurture the growth of the team and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for improvement.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards, proper signage, and stock levels.
• Optimize product displays to maximize sales and ensure product quality.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the team and prioritize customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
