Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join ALDI, where you will play a vital role in the management team. As an Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities for team development.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities for team member growth.
- Ensure adherence to company strategy and values.
- Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments.
- Participate in the interview process.
- Oversee inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day team operations and ensure customer service excellence.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous retail experience and management skills preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
