Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our retail management team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supervising store activities, ensuring overall performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. You will also focus on team growth through training opportunities and creating a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team
  • Identify training opportunities for team development
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise products effectively
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed
  • Uphold company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in interpreting company policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Prior retail management experience preferred

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience
  • Prior management experience is a plus
