Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will play a pivotal role in planning, supervising, and controlling available resources associated with the loading/unloading of freight. Your responsibilities will include maintaining load plans, assigning job tasks, providing training and feedback, ensuring a safe work environment, and fostering a values-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and promote safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Service Center, transportation, or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
