Job Description

ABF Freight, a subsidiary of ArcBest, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all resources related to the loading and unloading of freight to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading operations.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback to workers.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and adherence to proper freight handling procedures.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with experience in service center or transportation operations.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, along with general knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a positive attitude in intense environments.
