2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handlers at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. As a part-time position with fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.75 per hour, this role offers an opportunity for hardworking individuals to contribute to our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines within the warehouse.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and comply with safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving operational goals.
• Inspect product quality and report any safety or sanitation issues.
• Work independently within set responsibilities and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills in warehouse tasks.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds frequently.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
